ADVENTURE: A Vocation Retreat Weekend for Catholic Young Men (in the summer after eighth grade through the summer after the 12th grade) are invited to "Adventure: A Vocation Retreat Weekend for Catholic Young Men." Adventure is sponsored by the Vocation Office, and scheduled Aug. 8-10 at Holy Rosary Parish and Recreation Center in Frenstat. Cost is $50 per person. FOR THOSE WHO ARE PREPARING FOR MARRIAGE…Couples planning to marry should contact their priest or deacon at least six months prior to their wedding date in order to begin the marriage preparation process. Couples planning to attend the diocesan pre-marriage retreat, “Together in God’s Image,” are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Retreats for 2008 are scheduled at Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat Center in Belton on the following weekends: Aug. 1-3, and Sept. 5-7. A two-part class session is scheduled for July 20 from 1-5pm at the Pastoral Center in Austin. Engaged couples must provide proof they have taken either the FOCCUS or PREPARE assessment before attending the “Together in God’s Image” classes or retreat.                    MEETINGS AND EVENTS IN OUR PARISH

PLEASE JOIN US AFTER THE 8 AND 10:15 MASSES IN THE SOCIAL HALL for coffee, donuts and tacos. This is a great opportunity to speak with new parishioners and visit with old friends.

RESPECT FOR LIFE ROSARY will be prayed next Sunday at 12 noon, led by Karin Benoit and Karin Marina.

VBS (Vacation Bible School) Begins on Monday, July 25th to Friday, August 1st, from 6 PM to 8:30 PM in the Social Hall, cost is $7.

PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN WORKSHOP…ALL VOLUNTEERS that work with children or vulnerable adults are REQUIRED to attend this workshop. Volunteers are also required to fill out an online application for a background check through the Diocese. The parish office is available if you need assistance for the online background check. 

A workshop is scheduled for July 19th from 9 AM to 12 noon in Andre Hall. Please call the office (547-3735) to sign up and let the staff know if you need childcare. You MUST be on time and are required to stay for the entire workshop. This is a requirement by the Diocese. Childcare will be provided, if necessary. 

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION: Registration for Religious Education and Formation Classes, Kindergarten through Twelfth grades will be held in August in the A-building. You may also go online at www.hf-cc.org to obtain a registration form and mail it with payment or bring it to the parish office. If you are new to our parish community, please make sure you register with the parish to enroll in our program. A baptismal certificate is required for students preparing for First Communion or Confirmation.

Catechists, both teachers and assistants, are needed. Please call Natalie Czajka at 547-0090 if you are interested in training as a catechist in this very important ministry.

Registration will be in Bldg A of the Religious Education Complex.
