                            TIME, TALENT AND TREASURE!
Whether it is a committee of one, two, or committee of several person and numerous helpers, the goal is the same: to provide a successful event. 
We did just that at our annual picnic. Even though some of our activities were “rained out” the picnic was a winner. Our appreciation and thanks again to the many volunteers that made the picnic great.

MANY THANKS TO OUR LADIES SOCIETY for the installation and payment of the great looking flower boarder in front of the church. Do we agree, the outside of our church has never looked better? 

"The Ladies Society would like to thank all the members of the parish who attended our Fashion Show/Luncheon. It was a very successful and fun event. This would not have been possible without your support and attendance. "

                           THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

Will host a late Cinco De Mayo, Mexican Dinner, Saturday, May 17th at the KofC Hall from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, plus Mex-Tex music by Robert Rodriguez till 10:00 PM. Adults $10, Kids 6-12 yrs $5, and kids under 6 yrs FREE. Tickets can be purchased at the parish office. The Parish is invited. 

Will hold a memorial for deceased Catholic War Veterans on Sunday, May 25th at the 10:15 Mass, at Holy Family Church. There will be a roll call of the names of those that are submitted, please phone the office. Afterwards, there will be a breakfast at the Social Hall.

                    MEETINGS AND EVENTS IN OUR PARISH

RESPECT FOR LIFE ROSARY will be prayed next Sunday at 7:30, led by Mary Doak.

PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING on Thursday, May 15th at 7:00 PM in the Rectory.

              RELIGIOUS EDUCATION - MARK YOUR CALENDAR!

Confirmation Rehearsal Monday, May 12th 7:00 PM in the church.

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th at 7:00 PM followed by a reception in the Social Hall.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION MASS WILL BE ON SUNDAY, JUNE 1ST AT THE 12:30 MASS.  Please call or stop by the parish office to sign up.

SVdP Society will meet on Tuesday, May 13th at 6:30 PM in the Social Ministries House. 

PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN, a workshop on child sexual abuse, will be held Wednesday, May 21 from 6:00 to 9:00PM here at Holy Family in Andre Hall. Anyone—volunteers, paid staff or clergy—who serves minors or vulnerable adults in a parish need to attend one of these workshops. Please register ahead of time so that adequate material may be available by contacting the parish office to register. Child care is available by calling the parish office at 547-3735.

THE YOUNG AT HEART GROUP has a busy summer planned. Anyone 55 and over is welcome to join us for the summer activities. 

May 22 - Potluck and Bunco 6:00 PM Social Hall

June 14 - Saturday, Vanishing River Cruise. If you would like to attend contact Kathy Davis at 542-7465, or e-mail address: rdavis53@hot.rr.com. We will meet in the church parking lot at 9:00 A.M. and car pool to Burnett. After the 2 hour cruise, there is much more to see and do such as the Eagle Eye Observatory with 22 inch telescopes, fishing, and hiking trails. There will be a picnic on the grounds at 2:00 P.M. There is a snack bar and many picnic facilities in the park. Be sure to pack your picnic basket. There is also a Lodge with 4 star dining, prices range from $12.00 to $25.00. 

July –Members only; July 4th BBQ 

August – All ages!!! Come join us for an overnight trip to Palo Duro Canyon to see the play “Texas”. We will leave by bus on August 8th and return on August 9th. More detailed information coming.
