THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
will be reposed on Fri, Mar 12 at 9 AM until Mon, Mar 22 at 8 AM (Spring break). The church will be open during the day if you would like to pray and spend some quiet time with Our Lord.


                                                    ***KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS NEWS***
LENTEN FISH FRY…
The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring a fish fry every Friday during Lent through April 2nd. The "All you can Eat" meal will be served from 6-8 PM each Friday at the KofC Hall. Cost: Adults $8, children under 10 years of age eat free. We hope to see all of you and your families come out and join us every Friday during Lent.

IRISH CELEBRATION ~
Sunday, March 14th from 4:30-8:30 PM at the KofC Hall. Entertainment provided by Deacon Matthew Kinney and family. Dinner served 5:30-6:30 PM, Corned Beef, cabbage, potatoes, and carrots. Cost: $15.00 per person, tickets are available at the parish office and KofC Hall. 

AARP DRIVER SAFETY ~
There will be a four hour AARP Driver Safety Program on Fri, Mar 12 from 1-5 PM in the Holy Family Catholic Church “C” Bldg. There are only 25 seats available. No age limit. DOES NOT dismiss a ticket!!!!! You don’t need to buy any insurance from AARP!!!! Cost $12 for AARP members or $14 non-members. Call 547-7354 to sign up. 

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY…
St. Mary’s School of Temple is seeking a part-time employee for the after school extended day program beginning March 22nd. This position is Mon-Fri from 3:30-6 PM. For more information please call (254) 778-8141.

AFTERNOON MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT!
On March 21st, Worldwide Marriage Encounter of Austin is hosting a free marriage enrichment, “7 Secrets to a Happier Marriage,” starting at 2 PM at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown. EASTER FLOWERS ~
We invite you to dedicate an Easter Lily in loving memory of those who are sharing life after death with Christ. Envelopes are available at all the entrances. Suggested offering is $10 per dedication. Thank you for your support. 

BISHOP INSTALLATION TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ~
The Mass of Installation of Bishop Joe S. Vásquez will be broadcast live on television and the Internet. The television broadcast will be live on KVUE on March 8 at 3 p.m. on digital channels 24.3 in English (also on Time Warner Cable channel 1512) and 24.2 in Spanish (also on Time Warner Cable channel 605). The Mass will also be streamed live on the Internet on www.kvue.com

YEAR OF THE PRIEST:
In June of 2009, Pope Benedict the XVI declared the "Year of the Priest" in recognition of the holy priesthood. Holy Family will be hosting a Eucharistic Rosary with Benediction on Sat, Mar 20th from 10 AM to 12 noon in the Church. Fr. Kevin Rai from San Jose Parish in Austin has developed special mysteries of the Rosary for this event, along with hymns and prayers and the Benediction Choir to lead the singing. ALL are welcome to join us as we pray for our priests and for vocations to the priesthood. A light lunch will be available immediately following. Please RSVP by Thu, Mar 18th to the parish office 547-3735. May you have a Blessed Lenten season!

REFLECTION ~
The parable of the fig tree Jesus tells is all about “second chances.” Jesus as the gardener intercedes and receives another chance for the tree to bear fruit. To whom could you offer a “second chance?”

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION ~
If you did not attend the First Holy Communion meeting today, the next meeting for parents will be held on Wed, Mar 10th at 6 PM in “C” Bldg Room 7. 

SPRING BREAK, NO CLASSES
from March 14-21. Classes will resume March 24th. 

SOCCER DAY ~
It’s time again for some healthy competition, fresh air and good ole’ family fun! Join us Sun, Mar 14th from 2-3:30 PM, on the field next to the Religious Education complex. Bring a lawn chair and bottled water or a cooler. We will not  have a cookout this time.

HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH - I
mmediately following the 12:30 youth Mass this Sunday, you are invited to join us over at the youth room for a St. Patty's day themed party. We'll eat pizza, drink green drinks, and of course have a few St. Patty's day challenges; 
donations will be greatly appreciated. Bring a friend!

STEUBENVILLE -
We're going to Steubenville South, in Alexandria, LA, June 25-27. This conference is jam packed with great music, fun, activities, and of course great talks. Cost will be $145, scholarships will be available. Registration information is available in the office. 

PAINT BALL & GODSTOCK! -
Mark your calendars, we're going paint balling April 10th to celebrate the end of lent. We will also be going to Godstock, an overnight concert put on by the diocese, May 1-2. Mark you calendars and pick up registration information in the office. 

ALTAR SERVER BREAKFAST:
Sun, Mar 14th after the 8 and 10:15 Masses. Enjoy a good breakfast, fellowship and help support our Altar Servers. Cost: Donation. Funds will be used for enrichment of Altar Server Ministry activities. 

INVESTITURE CEREMONY:
Congratulations to following young people of our Parish who were commissioned by Fr. Jim to begin their service as Altar Servers at the Apprentice Level this morning at the 10:15 Mass. James Frost, Monica Almazan, Destiny Garcia, Davi Manyen and Sophia Caro, We wish them well in this 
Ministry.
