Lay Eucharistic Ministers are a group of men and women appointed and commissioned from among our Catholic community who are active participants in this parish. It is with the greatest reverence that this ministry is undertaken.

Eucharistic Ministers assist the Presider at the Eucharistic ceremony (Mass) by helping to distribute communion to the assembly and by visiting and bringing communion to the sick and homebound who are unable to attend Mass.

Eucharistic Ministers are given training at the Parish level and through workshops offered by the Diocese of Austin.

Eucharistic Ministers can elect to minister at the Mass, to visit the sick and homebound or, to do both; but generally, would be available every Sunday to assist during one Mass.
