The role of the Finance Council is to assist the pastor in financial matters of the Parish. This includes review and stewardship of the annual operating budget; review of financial reports to the Diocese and development of an annual report to the Parish; inspecting and ensuring proper repair of parish properties; reviewing any contracts the Parish may undertake; ensuring that parish accounting conforms with the Diocesan requirements; encouraging support of both Diocesan and parish fund raising projects.
